Mea lives on a small North Sea island. She is creative, loves playing on the beach, and dreams of studying sea turtles one day. But there’s one thing Mea really doesn’t like: math. Luckily, there’s the old captain. Through him, Mea discovers her strengths and realizes that she doesn’t have to feel powerless against her difficulties with numbers.

This story is meant to encourage children with dyscalculia and show them that they are not alone in their experiences.
